Benjaman Attaway Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjaman Attaway Smith of Jemison, Alabama, who passed away on April 16, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Mae Smith and James Lonzie Smith; and his sister Peggy Sue Hatter. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Smith; his children, Benjaman Smith (Veronica), Melissa Ashley and Jonathan Smith (Kendra); his grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Sommer), Melony Smith (Alex), Cade Ashley (Sarah), William Ashley and Ethan Smith; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Smith, Marilyn Smith and Carlee Smith; and his siblings, Edna Johns, Hilda Howell, Rebecca Crowson, Mary Jarvis and James Smith (Faye Beth). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel (1300 4th Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
