She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Norris and Mitsuko Rikitake Norris; her husband Harvest Whatley; her grandchildren, Emily and Alex Childress; and her son-in-law Charles Davenport.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Childress (Paris) of Wilsonville, Stephanie Davenport of Jemison and Jennifer Freeman (Jason) of Jemison; her brother Larry Norris of Verbena; and her son Donald Childress. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren.
