It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy May of Jefferson, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, O. M. Jackson and Lillian Poole Jackson; her brother Raymond Jackson; her son Billy "Neal" Taft, Jr.; and her grandson Josh Caradine.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Wright (Allen), Brenda Pate, Cindy Spinks, Robbin Caradine (Jack) and Jerry Taft (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Shawn Higgins, Dawn McMillin, Brandon Pate, Darrick Wright, Julia Lyons, Wesley Pate, Brandy Taft, Billy Neal Taft III, Jeremy Higgins, Jeri Dawn Shaver, Taylor Taft, Brooklyn Taft and Brilee Taft. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
