It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lambert Jr. of Jefferson, Alabama, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Bairnsfather Lambert; his parents, James Garfield and Annie Hamilton Lambert; and his siblings, Helen Lambert Womble Boothby, Leroy Lambert and John Frank Lambert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Blades, Courtney Watts (Dennis) and Leigh Ann Ling (Ron); his grandchildren, Brooke Mollica, Leslie Mollica (Lucas Hoffman), Charles Mollica, Jacqueline Blades, Cindy Watts and Jared Ling (Anna); his great grandchildren, Asher, Hazel, Savannah, Addison, Brantlee and Lila; his sister-in-law Ragnald Bairnsfather; and his nephews, Carlos Womble (Carol), Allen Lambert, Andrew Bairnsfather and Kyle Bairnsfather.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Birmingham Southern College, Birmingham Botanical Gardens or Birmingham Museum of Art.
