He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Ola Benefield; and his son-in-law David Reid. He is survived by: his wife Sue Adams; his children, Brenda Mitchell, Ron Adams (Joy), Peggy Reid, Rhonda Zarzaur (Mark) and Patty Mills; and his siblings, Michael Adams (Katrine) and Debbie Painter (Rod). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
