Hartsell McCaleb wrote a sympathy message

“By Rachel McCaleb Hartsell (Alan’s niece by Jeff, his brother) My family and are crushed by this loss. May the Lord provide comfort to the whole family. Shall we be comforted & inspired by the words of St. Francis of Assisi “ O Divine Master, grant that I may not seek to be consoled, as to console. To be understood, as to understand. To be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.””
