He was predeceased by: his son Dalton Hooper; his parents, Rufus Hooper and Christine Hooper; his siblings, Wilford Hooper, Wanda Smith and Wendy Hooper; his sister-in-law Jenny Hooper; and his grandparents, George Grove Hooper, Lily Hooper, Lucius Skinner and Recie Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Hooper; his daughters, Alita Herron (Jacob), Britnie Hall (Jared) and Tia Capps (Chris); his siblings, Wilma "Chris" Barrett (Wayne), William Hooper (Natalie) and Winfred Hooper; and his grandchildren, Jess, Jason, Isabelle, Evander, Gage, Avery, Raegan, Riley, Solomon and Baby C. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
