We bid farewell to Willard Hooper of Jasper, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 56. Willard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his son Dalton Hooper; his parents, Rufus Hooper and Christine Hooper; his siblings, Wilford Hooper, Wanda Smith and Wendy Hooper; and his grandparents, George Grove Hooper, Lily Hooper, Lucius Skinner and Recie Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Hooper; his daughters, Alita Herron (Jacob), Britnie Hall (Jared) and Tia Capps (Chris); his siblings, Wilma "Chris" Barrett (Wayne), William Hooper and Winfred Hooper; and his grandchildren, Jess, Jason, Isabelle, Evander, Gage, Avery, Raegan, Riley, Solomon and Baby C. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Edgil Grove Baptist Church (100 Edgil Grove Rd, Jasper, AL 35503).
