It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Webster Banks (Jasper, Alabama), who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sue O'Rear Banks; his parents, William Banks and Della Mae Calloway Banks; his parents-in-law, James N. O'Rear and Esther Roach O'Rear; and his siblings, Flora Mae Campbell, Waymon Banks, Cora Winters, Ruby Gibson, Coleman Banks, Gwin Banks and Willie Dell Morris.
He is survived by: his children, LaAnita Best (Doug) and Derryll Banks (Gale); his grandchildren, Laura Lee Long (Anthony), Abbie Day (Jayson), Kathryn Millirons (Taylor) and Brad Eady; his great grandchildren, Anna Clair Johnson, Jack Johnson, Henry Day and Caroline Day; and his grandchild Host. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
