It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Jones Crump of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on July 11, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband A. G. Crump; her son Tim Crump; her great grandchild Vally Crump; her parents, Aaron David Jones and Clara Belle Jones; her siblings, Shirley Johnson, Floyd Jones, Billy Jones and Terry Jones; and her sister-in-law Alicia Jones.

She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Crump McCollum (Jerry "Buck") and Sherry Crump Guthrie (Ricky); her grandchildren, Amanda McCollum Elliott (Ryan), April McCollum Pate (Jarred), Daniel McCollum (Kelcie), Landon Guthrie (Katie), Nick Crump (Brooke) and Zack Crump (Ashleigh); her great grandchildren, Turner Elliott, CalHenry Elliott, Ally Crump, Makenna Crump and Bristol Lane Pate; and her siblings, Maxie Ben Jones and Diane Jones Duskin (Gerald). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
