It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Swann (Jasper, Alabama), who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth D. Swann; her son Bobby Daniel Swann; her parents, Ben Thomas and Lenora Thomas; and her siblings, Bea Tolbert, Agnes Peters, Curtis and Horace Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Kendra Blackmon (Alan), Sonya Carter and Darrell Swann (Jeannie); her grandchildren, Falan Bryars, Kalan Busby (Michael), Haley Carter (Chad), Sylvia Duke (Tyler), Ashley, Fredrick DeLeon and Matthew Carter; and her great grandchildren, Madison, Clayde of Kira, RJ, Allie, Hannah, Ashton and Alaya.
