It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley E McCarver of Jasper, Alabama, born in Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil E. McCarver and Sylvia V. McCarver. He is survived by: his son Brent McCarver (Dana) of Jasper; his granddaughters, Jordanna Gunter (Chase) and Katie McCarver; and his great grandchildren, Barret Gunter and Beckham Gunter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a newly formed Scholarship fund for RHS students, The McCarver Family Memorial Scholarship.
