It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Estell Gay (Jasper, Alabama), born in Black, Alabama, who passed away on July 27, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Ray "Tom" Gay; her son Larry Gay; her grandsons, Bobby Odom and Josh Key; her parents, Homer Williams and Mandy Williams; her siblings, Martha B. Williams, J. L. Williams, Cloa Holaway and Lucille Sims; and her stepsiblings, Robert Holloway and Mildred Holloway-Craig.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary Gay (Lisa) and Tommy Gay (MaryAnn); her daughter-in-law Beverly Gay; her aunt Martha Ann Williams Irby; her half-sister Linda Miley; her stepsister Jeraline Merrill (Erick); her sister-in-law Linda B. Williams; and her grandchildren, Andrew Gay, Jacob Gay, Natasha Gay McCaleb (Seth), Alysia Glass Mitchell (Chris), Alex Odom and Andrew Walker. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
