He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina Raines and Earl Raines; his in-laws, Grace and Alvin Harris; his brothers, Tom and Ralph; and his grandchildren, Jay and Tonya.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his sons, Wes (Rhonda), Jim (Katie) and Ron (Heather); his grandchildren, Jessica (Dylan), Ginny (Austin), Alex (Shelby), Charlee, Dani, Gracie Beth (Drake), Heath, Ethan, Trevor and Allison; and his great grandchildren, Ellis, Ryleigh, Ella-Brooke and Ryker Bo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
