He was predeceased by: his parents, Recie Skinner and Lucious Skinner; his wife June Uptain Skinner; his parents-in-law, Frank and Stella Uptain; and his grandchild Calub Dockins.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca, Junior Whitehead, Tammy Culver (John), Jim Skinner and Daniel Skinner; his brother-in-law Carl Uptain; and his grandchildren, Jagger Dockins, Keileigh Hamrick and Nathan Hamrick.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Edgil Grove Baptist Church (100 Edgil Grove Rd, Jasper, AL 35503). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
