It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Laird Sr. of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phillip Laird Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Goodwyn Laird; his children, Wells Laird Jones, Phillip Andrew "Andy" Laird Jr. and Matthew Branton Laird; and his brother Tommy Huel Laird. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Walker Area Community Foundation or Jasper First United Methodist Church.
