It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Atkins of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskelle D. Atkins and Geneva Atkins; his sisters, Debra Fay Atkins, Phyllis Kay Atkins and Joan Ellen Atkins; and his father-in-law Johnnie Shumate.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Atkins; his daughter Jessica Atkins; his mother-in-law Annette Shumate; his sister Kathy Atkins O'Barr; his niece Shelly O'Barr; his nephew Kris O'Barr (Alison); his great-niece Nora; and his great-nephew Callan.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Liberty Grove Cemetery (506-876 Old Flatwood Rd, Nauvoo, AL 35578).
