He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Chilton Brown and Verney Wall Brown; and his grandparents, Sallie Vanderbilt Clayton Brown and Edward Lee Brown, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Brown; his children, Jason Brown (Kendra) and Jill Bailey (Dustin); and his grandchildren, Jenna Brown, Jaydan Brown, Joley Brown, Eli Bailey and Ella Nora Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the mission fund at Northside Baptist Church.
