With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Ann McCarty of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth McCarty; her daughter Kim Waldrop; her granddaughter Kandice Capps; her parents, Amos Reed and Nora Reed; and her brother Don Reed.

She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Neil McCarty (Dorothy) and Martha Reed; and her nieces and nephews, Denise Dates (Bran), Tanya Robinson (Chris), Suzanne Hand, Beverly Gaddy (Rick), David McCarty (Kay), Ronnie Hand and John David Reed (Olivia).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bell Funeral Home Sumiton Chapel (510 Main St, Sumiton, AL 35148). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
