She was predeceased by: her husband Harold D. Smith; her parents, Renon Trice and Inez Wheeler Trice; her brother Jim Trice (Evelyn); and her great-niece Lily Frances Trice.

She is survived by: her daughter Pam Smith; her nephews, Chris Luhar-Trice (Neha) and John Trice (Stephanie); her great-niece Charlotte Trice; and her stepchildren, Darlene Nix, Jr., Kim Mann and Mack Gunter. She is also survived by pet, Mr. G; and a host of cousins and friends.
