She was predeceased by: her son Murry Preston Hamilton; her parents, John Ervin Aldridge and Elizabeth Lane Garrison Aldridge; and her siblings, Marie, Pearline Aldridge, Frances "Dora" Herron (Verner), Vaudine A. Morgan, Henry Clyde Aldridge (Maxine) and John David Aldridge.

She is survived by: her children, Travis Hamilton, Elizabeth "Polly" Thomas (Wayne), Ruth McGough (Robert) and Regena Seaborn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
