It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Freeman of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn Freeman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ira, Fannie Brown, Luther and Lavada Barrett; her stepfather Bill Miller; her parents-in-law, Ruby and Stanley Freeman; and her brother-in-law Monroe Freeman.

She is survived by: her husband Sandy Lynn Freeman; her mother Hazel Brown Miller; her sister Donna Barrett Freeman; and her nieces and nephews, Jared Freeman, Ethan Freeman, Caleb, Hayden, Bradley, Carter Freeman, Crystal, Anna, Ashley, Megan, Kristen, Aubrey, Allie Grace Freeman, Cathy Newman, Erin Fields, Julie Foote and Jenny Martin.

“To Sandy and all of Marilyn's family, you don't know me. I played June's Journey, a computer game with Marilyn and a group of other women. We have become close and chat frequently. Our group is from all parts of the United States, and, in fact, all over the world. Marilyn was always the life of the party and had a lot to add to the group about her home, family, and pets, and especially her devotion to Sandy.
