She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Dooley; her son Jerome Dooley; her parents, Hobson Powell and Luzell Powell; and her siblings, Nola Cockrell, Ellen Nelson and Robert Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Benjamin (Jerrad) and Jeremy Dooley (Amanda); and her siblings, Janice Lolley and Junior Powell (Sue). She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Curry Cemetery (6451 Curry Hwy, Jasper, AL 35503).
