She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Linx Wells; her parents, Charles L. Baltzer and Johnnie H. Minshew; her stepfather Ralph Minshew; and her sister Charlotte Baltzer Harding.
She is survived by: her sister Johnnie J. Hollis; her children, Jackie Glover (Bruce) of Jasper, J. Carol Monroe of Springhill, FL, Joy D. Sherman (Tony) of Jasper and Timothy Wells of Dora; and her grandchildren, Rachel Gonzalez (Brent), Rhonda Griffin (Eric), Alicia Key (Jason), Rebekah Monroe, Jack Sherman, Andrea Nick (Anthony), Scott Sherman (Erica), Christopher Sherman and Karley Sherman. She is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren; a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
