It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Phillips of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Freeman and Luther Freeman; her siblings, Millard, Willard, Hollis, Wallace, Ransom, Junior Freeman and Netty Fell; her husband Alva Phillips; and her son Gary Phillips.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lena Sellers and Lillian Ponder; her daughter-in-law Beverly Phillips; her grandson Allan Phillips (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Shaelyn Phillips, Taylor Mills (Justin), Tommy Phillips (Lauren), Timothy Phillips (Kayla) and Lilly Phillips; and her great great grandchildren, Devon Mills, Hadley Mills, Danon Phillips, Elijah Phillips and Brody Phillips.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
