He is survived by: his wife Pam John; his daughters, Christy Lane (Bill) and Melissa Brand (Travis); and his grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Alexandria Lane, Drew John and Connor Lane. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home (1200 Birmingham Ave, Jasper, AL 35501).
