He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Wilson Moss, Jr. and Artie Jones Moss; his wife Helen Moss; his grandson Kenney Erwin Moss; and his brother Harvey Wilson Moss, III.

He is survived by: his children, Geral Moss, Sr., John Moss, Karen Reneau (William) and Sherry Hartley (Mark); his grandchildren, Robin Buckalew (Jason), Laura Southard (Joe), Jonathan Reneau (Ashton), Geral Moss, Jr. (Tara), Savannah Campbell Smith (Clay) and Alexander Campbell; his great grandchildren, Whitley Southard, Ethan Buckalew, Lucas Southard, Khloe Buckalew, Dalton Southard and Kaitlyn Dunaway; and his sister Gail Williams. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
