It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Clarence Lawson (Jasper, Alabama), who passed away on December 3, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy Lawson Harris; his grandson Christopher Wayne Harris; his great grandchild Mabry "Jadee" Fowler; his parents, George Lawson and Dora E. Lawson; his siblings, L. V. "Red" Lawson, Eulas Lawson, J. A. Lawson, Manlenne Allred, Jerry Lawson, Pauline Lawson and Herschel Lee Lawson; his grandparents, Charlie and Mary Lenni Light; and his parents-in-law, Jessie Dill, Joe Paul Dill and Billy Ray Dill.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Lawson; his children, Melissa Pearson (Joseph), Jimmy "Butch" Lawson (Lynn), Sharon Wilson (Nick) and Robin Odom (Steve); his grandchildren, Tiffany Fowler (Jon), Jenny Kitts (Tyler), Jered James (Stephanie), Kayla Watkins (Stephen), Tim Lawson (Courtney) and Steven Odom; his great grandchildren, Clair Fowler, Ele Fowler, Anna James, Kamden James, Bristol James, Jayce Odom and Fisher Lawson; and his sisters, Evelyn Aaron and Ruth Wade. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
