He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Pate and Arlous Pate; and his siblings, Edna Harper, Giles Pate, Eloise Webb, Sylvia Melton and Ann Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Pate; and his daughters, Tanya Glover (Tim) and Joy Pate.
