It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Adkins of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Adkins and Tressie Chafin Adkins; his brothers, W. M. Adkins and Harold Adkins; and his siblings-in-law, Ted Crane and Martha Adkins.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Adkins of Jasper; his children, Melanie Gossett Smith of Jasper and Mark Gossett of Jasper; his sister Barbara Ann Crane of Birmingham; his sister-in-law Larene Adkins; and his granddaughters, Jordan Smith, Marlie Smith and Host. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Camp McDowel.
