It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Dobbins of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Janice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Janice's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mitchell "Poncho" McCoy; her children, Joseph McCoy and Jennifer McCoy Herald; her brothers, Mark Bowens and Larry Paul Bowens; and her son-in-law Scott Herald. She is also survived by One Grandson, One Step Granddaughter, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bennett Cemetery (590 Bennett Rd, Jasper, AL 35503).
