He was predeceased by: his parents, Henston Odom and Martha Brown; his siblings, Lois, Doris, Ann and Walt; his wife Reba Gene Presson; his son James L. Odom, Jr.; his grandson Jud Odom; and his grandchildren-in-law, Officer Roy R. Burnsed, Robert Hatchell and Katie O'brien Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Paul Odom (Cindy) and Angela Coriene Ray (Jimmy); his daughter-in-law Martha Odom; his grandchildren, Jay Odom (Tanja), Jessica Odom, Jeb Odom (Ami), Jennifer Nichols (Grant), Matt Ray, Melissa Ray and Rati Romandze; his great grandchildren, Luke, Jenna, James, Eli, Haley, Hannah, Lilly, Abby (Trent), Cooper and Brantlee; and his great great grandchildren, Kye and Willow. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions a private family graveside service was held on Friday, October 30.
