He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Key; his former wife Janette Key; his children, Michael Dewayne Key and Ella Christine Key; his siblings, Sam Key, Neal Key, Gerome Key, Paul Key, Doris Jackson, Eurie Bates and Olean Rubley; and his daughter-in-law Jewell Key.
He is survived by: his son David Key (Vicki); and his grandchildren, Holly Key Guthrie, Justin Key (Emily), Krystle Godwin (Joe) and Todd Key (Kisha). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
