We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2023, at the age of 91, Hildegard Buchhold Tate of Jasper, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Earl Tate; her son Andrew Stephen Tate; her parents, Theodore Buchhold and Ilse Zetner Buchhold; and her sister Helga Kramer.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Shaw, Margrit Tate and Michael Tate; her sister Carolyn Grisham; her nephew Ernest Kramer; and also, Ronnie Shaw, Donna Milner, Tony Cranmore and Sheila Uptain. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Walker County Humane Society, PO.
