He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Alvis Vest; his parents, Gilbert Vest and Valcie Vest; and his siblings, Marie Birchem, Jerry Vest and James "Buddy" Vest.
He is survived by: his siblings, Louise Caldwell, Leatha Chandler (Doyle) and Bob Vest (Suzy); and his pet Muffy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends; and pet.
