With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Keith Shrader of Jasper, Alabama, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shrader and Edith Shrader; and his sisters, Janice Lewis and Katherine Cox. He is survived by: his brother Larry Shrader; his children, Sarah Shrader, Joel Benjamin McCarty and Bobby McCarty Jr.; his sons-in-law, Richard Lee Summers and Andy Blankenship; his wife Patricia Shrader of Jasper Al; his siblings, Tom Shrader (Kayoka), Bob Shrader (Linda), Randal Shrader, Nancy Glass (Chuck) and Mary Lou Shively (Tom); his sister-in-law Carol Shrader; his children, Bobbi Roberts, Leigh Summers, Betsy Harmon, Jennifer Blankenship, Christina Wolfe, Daniel Shrader and Margaret Shrader; and his grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah of Sadie, A. J, Jessica, Laura and Bobby McCarty. He is also survived by two great grandchildren. And a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and dear friends.
The family has requested that flowers be sent, or donations made to their local no kill animal shelter.
