It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine McDade (Jasper, Alabama), who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Geraldine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Geraldine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Joseph McDade; her parents, Ella Yates Davis and Dewey Otis Davis; and her nephew Ronald'Mutt'McGough. She is survived by: her son Greg McDade (Kimberly McDade) of Guntersville, Alabama; her grandson Shane McDade (Ashley) of Birmingham, AL; her great grandchild Hudson McDade; her sister Geneva'Lady'McGough of Carbon Hill, AL; and her nephews, Gerald'Dank'McGough of Foley, AL, Rick McGough of Jasper and Phillip McGough of Birmingham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM and at 1:30 PM at the Collins Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
