With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erlene Meeks Ivey of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on October 9, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles B. Ivey; her parents, John Meeks and Vernada Meeks; and her siblings, Wesley Meeks, Berta Daily and Joe Meeks.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles W. Ivey (Faye), Dennis L. Ivey (Freda) and Johnny M. Ivey; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Blackburn (Mitch), Nancy Megginson (Chris) and Nathan Ivey (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Jackson Blackburn, Taylor Blackburn, John Megginson, Mayim Megginson, Sara Megginson, Joanna Ivey, Josiah Ivey and Lydia Ivey; her nieces, Cindy Daily, Cathy Bruce, Connie Brown and Kari Heugens; and her nephew David Meeks.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Gideons International.
