He was predeceased by: his son Randy Wayne (Paulette Hyche); his parents, Jesse Daniel and Stella Schiele Daniel; his siblings, Garvie Daniel (Mary Frances Evans) and Margaret Weddle (Herschel "Huss"); and his sister-in-law Jeanette Alldredge.

He is survived by: his wife Willa Dean Warhurst Daniel; his grandchildren, Dr. Stanley Robert Daniel (Meagan) of Louisville, KY, Hayley Daniel of Jasper, AL, Jennifer Marksberry (Scott) of Bella Vista, AR and Jared Daniel (Audrey) of Newburgh, IN; his great grandchildren, Jase Barrentine, Brennen, John David Talley, Wyatt, Caleb, Emerie Marksberry, Addison, Camden and William Daniel; and his brothers, Julian (Evelyn) of Ooltewah, TN and Francis (Zelda) of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Carl Elliott Regional Library.
