He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Richardson and Lilla Richardson; and his siblings, Yvonne Richardson, Chris Scogin Snook and James "Bud" Richardson.

He is survived by: his wife Bobbie J. Richardson; his children, Carol R. Johnson (Gary) and Mark E. Richardson (Debbie); his grandchildren, Jenny Strickland (Dustin), Matt Johnson (Betsy), Laura Johnson, Anna Claire Johnson and Mckenzie Richardson; and his siblings, Kathleen Anderson, Barbara Brown (Lawrence), Doug Richardson (Barbara), Pat Hyche (Gene), Paula Wall (Ben) and Wanda Wolfe (Mike). He is also survived by five great-grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
