Edith Marie Steadman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Marie Steadman (Jasper, Alabama), who passed away on June 21, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Gaye Steadman Hamilton; her parents, Handy Kitchens and Ethel Kitchens; her brothers, Coy "Bud" Kitchens and James Billy Kitchens; her sisters-in-law, Wanda Kitchens, Jeanette Kitchens and Anne Kitchens; and her sons-in-law, Joe Sullivan and Curtis Dowdy.

She is survived by: her spouse W. C. Steadman; her children, Renea Cain, Clayton Steadman, Rita Sullivan, Gail Dowdy, Debbie Stokes, Elsie Dutton and Brenda Young; her siblings, Rev. Dale Kitchens (Faye) and Betty Frazier of Newport, TN.; her grandchildren, Shane Jones, Shannon Smith and Caitlin Sullivan of Atlanta, GA.; her great grandchildren, Lauren McGraw (Tommy) of Birmingham, AL., Tiffany Harbinson (Richard), Rory Smith of Atlanta, GA. and Brady Givins of Atlanta, GA.; her great great grandchildren, Klayton, Faythe Harbinson and Westley McGraw; and her niece Lynn Baxley.
