He is survived by: his wife Gay Nell Hitt Swafford; his children, Jimmy Swafford (Pat), Glenda Gay (Tim) and Gayle Crump (Barry); his grandchildren, Phillip Swafford (Jin), Christy Chattom (Daniel), Clay Swafford and Chandler Crump; and his great grandchildren, Braxton Chattom, Cedar Swafford and Lulu Swafford.
