He was predeceased by: his grandson Riley Barnes; his parents, Edd King (E. K.) and Pat Barnes; his parents-in-law, Lecie and Johnnie B. Harris; his sister Patsy Barnes Brown; and his brother-in-law Jack Moore Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Barnes; his children, Monica Ann Barnes and Jonathan Frank Barnes; his granddaughter Katilyn Nicole Barnes; his brothers, Dale Harris (Shelbie) and Ronnie Harris (Vonda); his nieces, Marie Welsh (John), Jenny Short (Mike), Kazann Black (Barry), Tawanna Isbell (Randall), Natasha Penick (Tim) and Javonna Montgomery (Troy); his nephew Jeff Harris; and his grandchildren, Tabitha, Sarah Morrow Will, Abby Housley, Wilson, Connor Hix, Levi Lowe and Kingston Blue. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews and many good friends.

Due to Covid-19 a face mask is required and social distancing.
