He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Edward Murray and Bessie Lee Martin Murray; and his siblings, Terry Murray, Jerry Murray and Carolyn Murray Durham.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Murray; his daughter April Kelley; his stepdaughter Cheryl Nix; his son Earnest Darrian Murray; his stepsons, D. J. Kellner and Kevin Tidwell; his sister Marie Banks (Johnny); his sister-in-law Jean Murray; his brothers, Gary Murray (Karen) and Perry Murray; and his brother-in-law Mike Durham. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren.
