He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Woodrow" Riley and Pearl Riley; his brother John W. Riley, Jr.; his sister-in-law Linda Tubbs Riley; his sister Gloria Jean Griffith; his parents-in-law, Odie and Gaynell Stockman; and his brother-in-law Monty Stockman.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Riley of Florida and Kayla Tucker (Dalton) of Curry; his grandchildren, Hunter, Ava Riley, Eli and Riley Kate Tucker; his niece Lori Riley Tyree (Shane); his great-niece Anna Kate Tyree; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Stockman, Laraine Smith (Hayden), Regena Johnsey (Phillip), Tim Stockman (Susan) and Richard Stockman (Michele); and his close friends, Rod Harding and Sammy Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Samaritan's Purse or Mount Vernon Baptist Church Building Fund.
