She was predeceased by: her husband Mahlon McConnell; her parents, Mamie Leo Patterson Smith and Herbert Eugene Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Edward McConnell, Adron McConnell, Elston McConnell, Betty Watts, Joy Harris, Shirley Smith, Dot Smith and Wynell Smith.

She is survived by: her brothers, Arnold Smith, Donald Smith and Harold Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine McConnell, Lurene McConnell, Dean McConnell, Martha Holland, Brenda Kendrick (Dennis), Grady Gene McConnell (Ann) and Loye McConnell (Susan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, faithful friends, and neighbors.
