He was predeceased by: his brother Steven Thompson; and his parents, Donald Thompson and Sandra Shelbourne. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Weimer Gay; his son Nathan Daniel Thompson (Shamey); his brother Gregory Thompson (Stacy); and his grandson Saban Daniel Thompson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
