He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gale Hale Beersdorf; his parents, Theodore R. Beersdorf and Eunice Barnett Beersdorf; and his brothers, George Beersdorf and Jerry Beersdorf.

He is survived by: his children, Mary T. Bevan of Jasper and Charles Beersdorf, Jr.; his grandchildren, Adam Bevan (Christy) of Jasper, Kyle Bevan (Brittany) of Hoover, Samuel C. Beersdorf of St. Pete Beach, FL and Caitlyn Beersdorf of Orlando, FL; his great grandchildren, Enoch Bevan, Cayden Bevan, Rowen Bevan and Kyleigh Bevan; and his sister Wanda Beersdorf of Wilmore, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
