She was predeceased by: her brother Phillip Lamar, III; her parents, Viola Lamar and Phillip Lamar, II; and her grandparents, Annie Key, Willie Key, Lilly Lamar and Phillip Lamar.
She is survived by: her husband James S. Swindle; her son Larry Johnson (Amanda) of Hawaii; her sisters, Sarah Teasley of Birmingham, Virginia Tolbert of Carbon Hill and Darlene Jackson of Jasper; and her grandchildren, Alia Johnson and Austin Swindle.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
