With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Rea (Jasper, Alabama), born in Nauvoo, Alabama, who passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Audie Rea and Esther Cheatham Rea; and his children, Anita Carol and David Alan Rea. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Ingleright Rea; his son Audie Gean Rea (Betty Ann) of Nauvoo; and his grandchildren, Lauren Rea Jones (Wes) of Oxford, MS, John Talbert Rea (Jessica) of Athens, AL, Christopher Lee Rea (Meredith) of Melbourne, FL, Rhiannon Rea Bryant of Austin, TX, LaShae Rea McBride of Hazelgreen, AL and Kristen Rea of Chapel Hill, NC.. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
