She was predeceased by: her grandson Shane Rigsby; her parents, Andrew Jackson Tirey and Louella Ellis Tirey; and her siblings, Jessie, Ora, Virginia, Clyde and Jack.

She is survived by: her friend Dale Palmer; her children, Ricky Garrett (Corrina), Sandra Rigsby (Gary), Billy Garrett (Debra) and Andy Garrett (Susan); her daughter-in-law Esther Duncan; her grandsons, P. A., Richard, Brannon and Landon; and her great grandchild Jack. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask you to donate to Alzheimer's research in her name.
